How to make Half-Square Triangles!

Knowing how to make half-square triangles (HSTs) is one of the most important skills in quilting. There are several different ways to create half-square triangles (HSTs), but with the method I’ll demonstrate, you won’t need to cut out intricate shapes or rely on any specialised tools. All that is required is to determine the finished size of your HST unit and consult the provided charts to ascertain the starting square size.

This technique allows you to produce 2, 4, or even 8 units at a time, based on your project needs, utilising a square ruler of any size with clear measurements.
